My Story

​​My last 5 years of a nearly 30 year career in public service were spent as the Director of Public Safety. In my role as Chief of Police, I was deeply troubled by the number of handcuffed young people who chose destruction over triumph.

While this demographic is the subject of much discussion and many programs, not enough is being done to take a one-on-one approach that shows the pathway out and the steps it takes to change their lives.

My mission is to love them enough to visualize the present and reveal a very possible future based upon the most powerful of motivations, their own.
